Sherry, Louise and Shauna will
be hosting a Maker Faire Detroit
Town Hall and Community Planning Meeting on Tuesday, March 22nd at The Detroit Public Library (Main Branch) in the the Old Fine Arts room and would like to
invite you to attend. In addition to providing updates on the event, our
goal is to continue to generate ideas, form working groups and continue to
connect with people and organizations that are interested in participating in Maker Faire Detroit.
If there are others that you know that
would like to get involved, please feel free to invite them too. This event is open to the public and we would
love to connect with people, groups and organizations that should be involved
with Maker Faire. Feel free to spread the word and invite interested
parties.
If you have participated in Maker Faire Detroit 2010, attended a Maker Faire
Community Meeting in the past, want to talk to us about a group exhibit or are new and want to learn more, we will have our Maker
Faire team onsite to work with you.
And, we look forward to receiving
your submission to the Maker Faire
Detroit "Call for Makers" which will go live on March 22nd, 2011 at www.makerfaire.com
And, please spread the word, in partnership with The Henry Ford, Maker Faire Detroit returns to Detroit July 30th and 31st, 2011.
